Man is trying to find out the ways and means to make the life happier, pleasant and comfortable since the beginning. He is also interested in revealing the secrets of the nature. Now, he has reached the stage, when he can claim to have obtained something in these directions. He started his journey from the invention of firestone. Now, he has discovered sputnic,, the wonder of wonders and has reached the atomic age. This atomic energy has revolutionised the modern civilization and throw a new light. Day by day we are marching on the path of progress and getting something now. Modern Science is shaping our culture and civilization. It is so closely related to us, that it is impossible to imagine a day without its gifts. Radio, wireless, telephone, cinemas, airoplanes and so many other inventions have made the human life happier and easier. Our journey is not so difficult as it was before. Man has conquerd the highest peaks, big oceans and the vast sky. The world has become smaller now. We are constantly trying to reach the other planets and reveal their secrets. Sonner or later our aim will be fulfilled, our dream will be realized. We are waiting for the day eagerly. Gagroin space flight is a step ahead in this direction. Immense progress in various branches of science is going on. We are very successful in eradication of so many deadly diseases of past in the field of medicine and surgery. Plague is not very common and fatal disease now. The battle against tuberculosis is half won. Malaria is disappearing rapidly. The fight against cancer continues. Many diseases are becoming things of h History. Now the modern science is busy in finding the way of immortality. If this ambition is fulfilled, the greatest law of nature will be challenged. It commonly acknowledge fact the modern medicions have prolonged the human life. Penicillin, streptomycin, Aureomycin, Sulpher Groups and vitamins are the wonder drugs, which give prompt relief to those who require them. but science of medicine is not perfact yet and so we have not been able to understand fully so many things in this regard. we are trying to increase our Knowledge day by day. There is all round development thing now, and it is possible to operate upon heart and brain. Some improvement in the techniqun takes place daily. It is not far off whan we shall be able to heav full command over these vitalo organs. Now, it is atomic age. This theory has created a revolution. On one hand it has given those deadly weapons which can destroy the entire humanity in no time, on the other hand it can serve very useful purposes for human welfare. It can be used to break the big rocks, which can be converted into fertile lands, Physicians are making use of it in so many diseases which have been declared incurable in the past. In the field of agriculture it is expected to increase production to meet the needs of growing populations. In short right use of atomic energy will bring a new change in our living, but if we failed, we have to face destructions Science of tomorrow will be more prosperous and charming but it all depend upon our thinking and guidance. It we want to be benefitted and take the full advantages of its blessing, we have to create peaceful atmosphere, deprived of any kind of tension and conflicts. We have to fight with poverty, ignorance, disease and other natural calamities with the help of our advanced knowledge in Science, but hoe can we get success, if we think in terms of war and cruetly. We have to develop deep sense of humanity and prepare our selfes to welcome Science of tomorrow then it will be a blessing to us.
